After Declan McDonald renovated his kitchen, he noticed his brand new appliances had gone on sale. He followed up on the lifetime price protection on his purchase of $7,000, and he got $1,500 back – free money. He was ecstatic.

After researching it a bit more, he discovered that less than 5% of price drops are claimed.
